Deranged Theory was a technical death metal band from Alexandria, Virginia and formed in 2009. They were initially going by the name After Death in 2002 and then stopped using that name in 2004. In 20004, they went by the name Masturhate and that lasted until 2009. As Deranged Theory, they released their a demo entitled Terminus Est in 2010. In 2012, they released their first full-length album entitled Steel Clad & Super Bad. They disbanded in the year they released their first full-length, which would be their only full-length album. Their last lineup consisted of Joe Helein (vocals), Tony Petrocelly (rhythm guitar), Brice Matarazzo (lead guitar), John Batease (bass) and Joe Crawley (drums). They were never signed to any label.
