This biography refers to the Math Rock band from Syracuse, NY. Started by Nick Streeter (drums), Caleb Liber (guitar/vocals) and Matthew St. Laurent (guitar/vocals) in the fall of 2012. Steve Sopchak joined the band on bass early winter 2013. The band cut a live, 3 song demo June 2013. Sopchak left the band in September of 2013. The remaining members continued writing material while searching for a bass player. John Bukowski joined the band on bass in late November of 2013. The newly whole Department practiced and immediately started playing shows all over Syracuse and the surrounding areas. They also started recording their debut with Sopchak at The Square Studio in Syracuse, NY. Their debut EP “Conversation” was released August, 19 2014. the band consists of current members of...Dialysis, The Scarlet Ending and Mandate Of Heaven. and ex-members of Speria, Rejouissance, Ebony Sorrow, The Andrea Doria, Word As A Virus, and Ladies & Everyone.
