Deny & Defy are a Hardcore band from Sydney/Wollongong who came together as a punk band under the name Throwaway Kids in July of 2007. The members had their first line up change when Jamie (vox) left the band in early 2009. James (guitarist) took over lead vocal duties from that point onwards and the group changed heir name to Deny & Defy shortly after. Smith (former Darkest Day bass player), James (former Cartoon Violence vocals and guitar), Des (former Cartoon Violence, Subverts and Darkest Day drummer) continued with guitar virtuoso Rhett as an old school hardcore band until Badical joined to play rhythm guitar in early 2010. The band has recorded an E.P. and have plans to release it in the coming months along with a new line of merchandise. We've toured australia numerous times and shared the stage with some of the world's/A ustralia's best punk/hardcore bands such as: the Misfits (USA), Nekromantix (USA), Anti Nowhere League (UK), xBISHOPx (USA), The Rabble (NZ), The Meteors (Uk), The Porkers, Zombie Ghost Train, The Disables, No Idea and hundreds of other punk and hardcore bands from all over Australia.
