The project „Denoisary“ was found in 2010 in Hamburg and consists of the two musicians Marcel Kellner (vocals/composition) and Ari Ahrendt (sounds/production). Both of them have been engaged in electronic music for decades – especially and foremost with classic synthie-pop. Their constant quest to find sounds that strike you as familiar on the one hand, but also novel and thrilling on the other, arose from separately working on numerous projects in diverse genres, such as EBM, electronica, or trance and ambient music – until they decided to join forces. LIGHTPOP, as the band calls its style, is retro synthesizer music combined with catchy melodies, danceable grooves, and a very high recognition value. “We did not reinvent electronic sounds – but we bring them out again!” That’s how Denoisary defines their very own library of sounds.
