Denny Hess, bass The Denny Hess Trio was formed out of a love for acoustic Jazz and original music that incorporates influences from many other styles of music. The trio features three of the top people in the field of jazz in the Myrtle Beach area. The guitarist Tom Hanlon and bassist Denny Hess share melodic duties that give the music a unique twist, while drummer Michael Knight holds down the groove. The band plays Jazz standards both old and new in an intimate style that lends itself to a wonderful listening experience.
