Dennis jr is a drummer, DJ and music producer from Norway. His musical influences are diverse and originate mainly from his participation in numerous bands, playing an assortment of genres from hard rock and funk to electronica and jazz. Highlights from his past include performances at Quartfestivalen and Oyafestivalen, both in 2002. Dennis jr has been producing for 11 years now and has released music on Jazid Collective and several compilations too. As a DJ, he has played in infamous Norwegian clubs such as Jazid, Headon and Skansen. His performance and production styles are mostly influenced by jazz and funk. An obsession with the rhythm section is blatant in his music, with both sequenced and live drum parts playing a crucial role in many of his compositions. Dennis Jr has currently released at AKUSTIKK RECORDINGS. There he also got a internet radioshow together with Marius Wiik (picture). In every show Marius Wiik and Dennis Jr takes you on a journey through all kinds of alternative grooves. They do house, funk, electro, jazz, disco, rap and more.
