Brazilian composer and teacher at the Music Department at the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP. Bachelor in Composition at the Communication and Arts School - ECA at the University of São Paulo - USP. From 1979 to 1984 she continued her studies at the "Nordwesrdeustche Muikakademie Detmold" and "Hochschule für Musik München" both in Germany. Master of Arts by the State University of Campinas and Philosophy Doctor in Communication and Semiotics by the Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC-SP. Her researches with environmental sounds recording began in 1989 and since then she has mostly composed in the field of eletroacoustical music. In 1997 she has a stage por her PhD at the INA-GRM Groupe de Recherches Musicales in Paris, under the supervision of Daniel Teruggi. Her eletroacoustical works have been played broadly in Brazil and at International Festivals (FUTURA, France in 1994 and 1998; Freiburg in 1997; Montreal in 1998; Mexico City in 1999; Berlim in 2000; Brussels in 2001; Bourges in 2003). Docent at the State University of Campinas since 1985, she teaches composition and harmony in the Undergraduated Studies and is Academic Supervisor of Graduated Studies in Music.
