Artist
Montreal based Disco electronic band from the early 1980s. The group was composed of husband and wife Denis and Denyse LePage, although two younger singers, Joy Dorris and Chris Marsh, were chosen to tour and appear as the act. They are most noted for their songs "Angel Eyes" (1983) and "Your Love" (1981 #1 US Dance). Very early in their career, they released an instrumental 12" single vinyl record called "The Break" under the name Kat Mandu. The single was successful and peaked at number three on the disco chart . Singer Denyse also wrote and sang on the record "Dancin' the Night Away" by Voggue. There were rumors that Denis and Denyse were in fact one person and Denis LePage did both vocals, a deep vocal for Denis and a falsetto type voice for Denyse. That was not true. Denis Lepage and Denyse Savaria (later Lepage) was a perfect match. The band faded from popularity in the 1990s. They released an album in 1994 called "Reason Of My Life" under the name Step By Step. Denis LePage signed over rights to classic Lime royalties before releasing a new album, Love Fury, in 2002. Discography Albums: 1. Your Love (1981) 2. Lime II (1982) 3. Lime 3 (1983) 4.
