Mostly playing classical music up to now, Dave started writing Rock-Songs in 2005. There were compositions which existed much earlier, but which were never recorded. In 2006 Dave started recording songs with a small home-studio, which he made accessible over the internet a short time afterwards. Because of the good feedbacks received, he then decided to start making more intense efforts on his project, which made it possible for him to record with more professional studio equipment for the first time in 2007. These recordings represent quite well what he emphasises on in his music. The style of Delusion Trip is moving somewhere in between melancholic acoustic and 80’s Rock, while the focus always lies on expressing himself with music. In February 2008, after a recording session, Dave deceided to release the first full-lenght "In The Middle Of Nowhere" over the two-year-old trip.
