Delta Reds are a metal band from Melbourne, Australia. Their style of music can be spread thick and heavy across the stylings of Swedish d-beat punk and American crust metal. The band formed in early 2007 and has since recorded a full length release titled "Obstacles Overcome, Competitors Bested" on their own label Shommit Records. Featuring members of Jed Whitey, Cockfight Shootout, The Blacklist, The Abandonment and Extortion, Delta Reds play short tight sets that are a testament to the bands they are influenced by. The first few years of the band's existence have been hampered by injuries and other commitments which has led to only a handful of shows in the early months of 2008.
