Artist
Although her name is frequently misspelled as Delores Johnson (even on some of her records), the real name of this American soul singer of the 1960s was Dolores Johnson ( also known as Dee Dee Johnson), probably from Texas. A former member of The Ikettes (1960-1964), she also released solo material and sang lead on 'I'm Blue (The Gong Gong Song)'. She must not be confused with the American songwriter Dolores Johnson, Eddie Bo's wife (Eddie credited several songs to her).
