Delinquent Habits together with Cyprus Hill can be attributed with inventing the so-called Latin Hip Hop. This type of Music includes rap and hip hop elements as well as mariachi-style trumpets and horns and has originated out of the Los Angeles Area in the early 1990ies. After scoring big with their first single "Tres Delinquentes" the band focussed more on hardcore rap. Eventually Kemo The Blaxican left the band to work on his solo career. Female Singer Michelle joined the band soon after. In 2006 Delinquent Habits released their latest Album "New and Improved".
