about

Delic (real name: Peter Blom) is a Dutch producer of hiphop and electronic music, hailing from the town of Zwolle, The Netherlands. Best known as the man behind the beats of the massively poular Opgezwolle, Delic also served as a beatmaker for Dutch hiphop acts such as DuvelDuvel, Typhoon and Jawat. Delic's beats can be heard on all three of Opgezwolle's studio albums. His decision to quit the band and travel the world effectively marked the end of Opgezwolle in 2007. Delic disappeared from the radar for about ten years, traveling the globe and making paintings. He resurfaced as a musician in 2017 with a track ('The Oasis') that accompanying a painting. His comeback album (and solo début), Kidnap At The Noodleshop, followed in 2018. Each of the eight tracks on the album is the musical companion to a Delic painting.
