Taru Dalmia, a.k.a. Delhi Sultanate is a fresh reggae, dubstep and hip-hop artist as well as a performance poet and scholar based in New Delhi, India. He has performed at various poetry forums and live shows, representing the lyrical and cultural tradition of reggae dancehall and hip-hop in India. He is a founding member of BASSFoundation Soundsystem in Delhi and is associated with Delhi's Da-Saz crew, an eclectic collective of classically trained and electro musicians in India's capital. He is known to devastate audiences and unsuspecting media representatives with raw reality lyrics that take a hard look at life in Delhi and India at large.
