With a Radio 1 'Essential New Tune' and Pete Tong's proclamation as "two names to look out for in 2009", they are receiving massive across the board club, press, blog and radio support for their killer remix of "See the Light" by The Hours - released on Damian Hirst's label. Canadian DJ/producer Johan Wadsten met London based DJ Dekker after moving to the UK from Toronto. They soon realised that they both wanted to make the same kind of music: technically accomplished, musical and genre-defying, yet totally destructive over a club system. They have been in the studio solidly ever since. Each of their remixes and original tracks to date have been unique, but a pattern of consistent quality is emerging, which has led to a queue of the hottest acts and labels clamouring for their remix services. Currently guarding a slew of new tracks, remixes and edits, Dekker & Johan bring the same attention to detail and dancefloor savvy to their club sets as they do to their productions. Each with huge DJ experience, they know how to smash up a club with their individual DJ sets, but put them together and add effects units, synths and extra CDJs and you have something really special.
