Degradatonia is a gothic/doom metal band formed in 2004 by the ex-members of other Lithuanian metal bands, debuting at the festival "Naujas Kraujas 2006". In 2008 Degradatonia recorded their first demo album consisting of 4 songs (listed below), featuring the cello in accompaniment to their normal doom metal sound. The band played as support for Tiamat at the "Kunigunda Lunaria'' 2008 festival The band has been quoted as saying "We don’t want to close ourselves in the frames of one genre", expecting to expand outside of the doom metal genre with their debut album.
