Degaussed is an experimental indie/rock band hailing from Wyandotte, Michigan. Formed as an acoustic project in 2006 by guitarist Luke Salbert, the band became a full-time project in 2009 after the additions of vocalist Matt LaFramboise, drummer Jake Tyrna, and Salbert's former bandmate Chris Beaubien on bass. They take influence from a diverse set of musicians, ranging from bands like Brand New, Circa Survive, and Fear Before to Between the Buried and Me. Their EP "165" was self-released in August 2009 and they are currently recording for their debut full-length.
