xDefend Tonightx was a pop punk band from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, Formed by friends in their freshman year at MLHS. Their first show was held in Mountain Lakes in Brett Cassidy's attic to a crowd of friends.They quickly became very popular around Mountain Lakes after releasing their demo which featured their cult songs about life in suburban NJ, "Cool Story Hansel" and "This Song Is Gonna Take A Really, Really, Really Obnoxiously Long Time To Scroll Across The Top Of Your Ipod Screen, Especially If It's A Nano: Part I." The band played many shows through out Morris County and Northern New Jersey during their existence from 2005-2007. Their final show was held in June 2007 at The Mountain Lakes Community Church.
