Defcon 1 is a parallel music project created by the brazilain illustrator and comic book professional artist Daniel HDR (http://www.danielhdr.com.br). In Defcon 1, HDR realize some experiments with electronic music, with some influences of Kraftwerk, Recoil, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Depeche Mode, and other. Without any pretension, just for fun. Started in 1991, Defcon 1 have two demo tapes, one released in 1991 (Improvise) and 1993(Hi,Argentina). In 2001, HDR release Dirtymedia, and in 2005, the new work 7RU57 (Trust).
