How did this all come about? Well, you can start by spending your childhood cranking up Prince, INXS, The Ramones and your favourite Eminem albums on the stereo.Next step, throw into the equation some bangin’ guitar antics on the Flying-V and lastly,for ego’s sake, document it all on your laptop.And if you’re a D.I.Y control freak and all you want to do is everything - writing, singing, programming, bass guitar and production- then so be it, you are legitimately a Smart Arse and can make a record any damn way you want. The story begins one Christmas morning when under the tree Declan found an el cheapo Mexican strat. He took to it like a duck to water and it wasn’t long before he was jamming along with the all of the dudes he ever cared about. Soon after he was adding the pyrotechnics of the microphone, a-la Steve Tyler and before you could count to three, started polluting the air with his own songs. Several school bands later hard rock/punk band The Coalition was formed and an E.P was duly recorded (a very nice blitzkrieg of Ramones style idiocy thank you very much) but due to artistic differences (he was artistic, they weren't ha ha ha) it never sa
