Decently Striking was founded in the first decade of the 21st century by JW buying an old Boss Drum Computer in the late 90s. JW first experienced the possibility of making electronic music. Being influenced by electronic music ever since JW started first sound experiments. After Ian joined Decently Striking round about 2001/2002 things changed. Melting musical horizons they created a huge output of muzak while developing their skills. Nowadays the sound of Decently Striking is somewhere between house, techno, minimal, funk and sometimes rock. The members of Decently Striking don’t commit to a certain style of music but only to the beat.
