Death Habit was originally formed as a cover band in 2006. The original members back then were Andy (guitar), Peter (vocals), Danny (drums) and Chris (guitar). Death Habit performed only once with this line up. In the beginning of the next year Andreas “Rat” joined the band as the second guitarist and Chris moved to playing bass. After some gigs in Cyprus, Death Habit decided to write their own material and take part in the first Bands Fest, back in 2007. They performed their first ever song, “Hear Their Cries” where they come in second place and as a prize were given studio time by Fishbone Records. Everything was looking bright for Death Habit but suddenly a problem occurred a while before they finished their recordings. Brothers Danny and Chris decided to leave the band for several reasons. The brothers were soon replaced by Andreas “Roy” (bass/backing vocals) and Kritonas (drums) which led to the final line up of Death Habit. During the recordings of their Demo/EP Death Habit signed a record deal with Fishbone Records. So the idea of the EP was soon vanished since Death Habit had enough material to record a full-length album, which will be released in mid 2009 by Fishbone Records. Death Habit debut Single has already been released as a digital download only from major MP3 stores (iTunes, Napster, etc). The single contains an acoustic version of the song, Burning Memories which will only be available through the single. Highlights: Bands Fest 2007 Second Place Winners
