Artist
Hailing from Northeastern Ohio, this hard rocking quintet is far from new to the national scene. Front man Ken Cooper takes his poise and swagger from the best of the best. From the Stones to the Doors, he delivers on all levels. The band backs their singer with the confidence you would expect from a corn fed diet of mid-western influences; shining and pounding with reincarnated rhythms from the Seventies. The album, produced by Cooper, reflects both the past and the present with shimmer and seasoning. Touring extensively in Ohio and Pennsylvania markets, the band expects strong numbers from the Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania Regions. The artist run label has hired veteran radio promoter Adam Lewis of the Planetary Group in Boston, MA as their college chart seeker. Early radio ads indicate that Dear Violet will be in the top 5 most added in college radio for the week of March 3 - 10. Planetary Group predicts high charting in the top 200. In mid-March National radio promoter Bill McGathey will pick up the ball with a national radio campaign targeting alternative and AOR rock radio.
