Dear Loving hails from Hirakata City in Osaka Prefecture. When the band started (while they were still in school) there were four members: Masa on vocals, Yuki on guitar, Kuro on bass and Takuya on drums. Takuya left the band in 2010. Originally their musical stylings were very visual kei but in 2001 they switched to a style they dubbed posipock -- combining the words positive, pop, and rock.
