Dear L'Novel was a visual-kei band that played symphonic rock/metal music, influenced both musically and visually by LAREINE. Their concept was that every member had a specific desire/meaning that produced a story. The final line-up was: Kazuho (vocals), Hide (guitar), Daiki (bass) and ex-member Yuuho (drums) (a.k.a. Kiyo). They were signed to the Virgin AIR entertainment label (previously called Maple Kiss), ran by EMIRU originally, (ex-LAREINE bassist, before being taken over by Kazuho). The band formed in September 2008, making their debut in October. The original line-up was: Kazuho (vocals), Hide (guitar), Poichi (bass) and Kiyo (drums). In 2009, they released their first single "Lyric Scenery" in April, limited to 500, now sold out. Yura joined them as a second guitarist in July of that year, and in September they recorded their second single. This time, EMIRU produced their second single "Solitude" which also sold out. 2010 and 2011 were both good years for the band, as they released 3 more singles and their first album. They gained more attention in the indies scene and were having successful live shows. 2011 would also be the year when the line-up changed. Yura was forced to leave the band (it wasn't explained what he did), Poci then left a few months later, he was replaced with Daiki. In September 2012, Kiyo left the band, the reasons why he did are unknown. The band never got a new drummer after his departure. They released their second album "Ai to Shi" in 201
