This whole deal started when one of Zemtseff's bands, Bloodjustice, was in a period of conflict. Zemtseff continued to write music, and slowly but surely, Dead on Both Shoulders' debut album, The Beginning of the Beginning, was composed and recorded, entirely by Zemtseff. After writing The Beginning of the Beginning, Zemtseff went on to write "Hyoid (The End of the Beginning)", and completed that effort by the time The Beginning of the Beginning was done being recorded. Zemtseff went on to write a pair of EPs as well, and with the help of John Henry, two albums under the moniker "The Praug", which are of an entirely different vein and will be released before Hyoid.
