2022 marks the birth of new powerhouse drum and bass trio DEAD WAX. A fresh joint venture between acclaimed studio wizard Willem Vanderstichele (aka Doctrine and Hush) and legendary DJ duo/promoters Jan Bogaerts and Damien Pascucci, known as M&T, the new group is set to make moves from the outset. Signing with Futurebound’s fabled Viper Recordings, the all Belgian collective clearly means serious business and is out to top charts and destroy dancefloors. DEAD WAX’s members need no introduction. M&T have been a staple of Belgian Drum and Bass since its onset, consistently inciting moshpits at Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, Outlook, Starwarz, Summerfestival and Laundry Day among countless others. Not only renowned as GOAT-level DJ’s, but as some of Europe’s top promoters, M&T have hosted the crème de la crème of the drum and bass world at their own events. From Andy C to Noisia, Macky Gee to Wilkinson and DJ Hype to Friction, it’s no wonder their ‘M&T Invites’-nights are so hyped and always sold out. They join forces with production kingpin Doctrine, who has released hits with RAM Records, Hospital, Invisible and Rampage Records. He has worked with some major ballers, including Dj Fresh, Netsky, Modestep and Murdock, with whom he produced the yearly Rampage Anthems. Officially remixing Noisia, playing Tomorrowland and getting remixed by Funtcase and Current Value are all considerable highlights within Doctrine’s illustrious track record.
