Dead Sea Armada is a 4 piece band from Parker Colorado crossing between metal and hard rock in a style that is often called groove metal, with its heavy guitars and fast double bass drumming to melodic and rhythmic melodies and vocals. Popular locally, fans are often referred to as being "The Armada" or the "Armada Crew" Dead Sea Armada consists of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums Chris “Chops” Schorger- Chops is the Dead Sea Armada front man and vocalist. It was on the streets of Saudi Arabia where Chops first listened to ‘Hero’ by Mariah Carey and from that moment on he knew that music is his life passion. He also cannot eat gluten. Mac Joiner-“Mac Attack” has been playing guitar for 45 years. His musical influences include Jack White of the White Stripes and Carlos Santana. His favorite song is Black Betty by Ram Jam. Mac is from Parker, Colorado. Ryan “Duke” Gebhardt- Ryan was born in Fort Worth Texas, moved to New York, then to New Mexico, Montana, Colorado, Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, and back to Colorado. He gets his inspiration as a bassist from jazz musician Jaco Pastorious. His favorite artists include Tool, G Love and Special Sauce, and Alice in Chains. Chris ‘Beatin’ Eaton – is the driving force behind Dead Sea Armada. Chris’ drumming has been compared to the drumming of Thor -God of Thunder. His musical influences include Motörhead, Blue Öyster Cult, Dëthklok, Fetüs, Mötley Crü, Nicklebäck, and any other band whose name starts with ‘anal’. User-contributed text
