The Dead Robots' Society is a roundtable-style, weekly gathering of aspiring writers who come together to discuss subjects important to the world of writing. Through their discussions (with the occasional foray into the areas of video games, booze, taco eating space monkeys and Meg Ryan) they hope to help other aspiring writers reach the promised land that is book publication. The current hosts of the show are Justin Macumber, Terry Mixon, and Eliyanna Kaiser. Previous hosts who have unfortunately since left the show include Ryan Stevenson, Steve Leahy, Graham Binns, Amanda Cales and Jason Mack. The podcast has been on the air since mid-August 2007. Topics discussed include everything from theme, to first readers, to outlines and comfort zones. The Dead Robots have also hosted several interviews with fellow writers such as Jesse Alexander, Kristopher Young, Patrick Rothfuss, Tracy Hickman, P.G. Holyfield, Tee Morris, and many others.
