Dead Relic is a Spanish rock band that was formed in 2008 in La Laguna, Canaries. Its current iteration consists of lead guitarist and vocalist Ben Casabianca, rhythm guitarist Victor Roldan, bassist Diego Diaz and drummer David Rodriguez. Their signature sound is a combination of Hard Rock & Alternative Metal. A blend of both styles resulting in the combination of metal riffs with hard rock vocals, vocal harmonies and 80s guitar solos. The first line-up of the band toured extensively during 2008 and 2009. During the summer of 2009 they flew to Los Angeles and recorded their debut CD, Equilibrium, an album produced by Shawn Zuzek of Daughters of Mara and Simple Sick Device, which earned critical acclaim and airplay nationwide after its release in November 2009. After a few years full of concerts and slight formation changes, Dead Relic finally found its new home and purpose. In 2012, and after a few concerts trying out new material, they started pre-production on what would be their next studio release. This time around it would be Ben Casabianca, seasoned guitarist and sound tech in many stints in the U.S.A. and U.K. for high profile bands, who would be taking care of the vocals & lead guitar duties for the new material. On rhythm guitar they have Victor Roldan, an accomplished producer, guitarist and drummer for The Hollowmen.
