Dead Man's Shadow were a short-lived British punk band, active in the early 1980s. They were originally a five-piece: Matt Dagnut (bass), Ian Fisher (drums), John Igor (vocals), Adrian Stainforth (guitar) and Alan Stint (guitar). Their debut single (1981) featured songs such as 'Neighbours', 'Poxy Politics', 'War Ploys' and 'Morons With Power'. By the time of their second record release, a split EP with !Action Pact! entitled Heathrow Touchdown they had slimmed down to a trio of Dagnut, Igor and Fisher. They are often associated with the anarchy punk and oi! subgenres of punk. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
