Dead Last November is a 5-piece metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. Originally formed in the summer of 2009, the band established themselves as a promising act in the Cleveland metal/hardcore scene by playing as many shows as they could to get their name out, and quickly rose in popularity. Just as the band was reaching the height of their popularity, it came to an abrupt start with the departure of drummer Leo Sypniewski and guitarist Chris Mazzolini. The band reformed in the late spring of 2010, retaining the original lineup of Eddie Luikart (vocals), Chris Mazzolini, Koub Tanner (guitars), Brandon Norwood (bass), and Leo Sypniewski (drums). After careful consideration, DLN decided to take a different musical direction from what they were known for from the summer before, dropping synth from their music, and pursuing a more complex and melodic sound. Currently the band is regaining strength and popularity in the Cleveland metal scene, and history has shown that the band has the drive to gain popularity quickly by writing new music and playing as many shows as they can.
