Dead Bhuttos

Started out as a Taqwacore band in 2007, ended soon after. Reformed in 2016 with members of Pakistani crust punk/grindcore band Multinational Corporations. The band now plays old school hardcore punk, influenced by Discharge, Black Flag, GBH, Anti-Cimex, with lyrics in Urdu. They released their debut EP "Democracy is the Best Revenge" in 2017 and can be streamed here: https://deadbhuttos.bandcamp.com/album/democracy-is-the-best-revenge They are no longer considered a Taqwacore band, nor are they affiliated with the movement any more. In fact they made a song on the EP mocking the movement - "Taqwacore Ko Miss Karao!" while the other songs were political themed tracks in Urdu, called "Pakistan Ka Matlab Kya?" based on 2 Habib Jalib poems, and the title track itself.
