7 Inch Selection by Deneez (mj007) for MondayJazz.com DeNeeZ is a member of One Ear Stereo DJ crew. www.myspace.com/oneearstereo One Ear Stereo was born in 1997 in Klaipeda as a mutual project of 3 beginning DJs - Ana, Denis and Genys. All 3 members have been organising some parties and/or DJing separately, before Denis came to Klaipeda from Riga. At that time Klaipeda's underground clubs were shut down, which, together with trio's mutual love for music, led to the birth of OES. OES parties with seemless blend of acidjazz, jazzy house, funk, triphop, lounge, nu jazz, breakbeat, deep house, techno house, chicago house (for progtrancetribalhardtechelectroclashhouse lovers: note, it was so long time ago, now our opinion about "club music" has changed at all... sorry... see "sounds like"... ;) and various other styles quickly became popular in Klaipeda and soon became famous all over Lithuania. Within a few years time all Lithuanian and Latvian underground DJs had played in OES parties. The famous Lithuanian band "Empti" played their first concerts in OES parties before releasing their debut album "Estrada". Lithuanian dance/electronic music portal "Ore" voted OES "Helloween" party as the best party of 1999, and OES parties in general - the best 'club' of 1999. OES continued their series of exceptional events while also playing at some events abroad - Ukrainian "Kazantip" festival, clubs and parties in Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Byelorussia, Belgium, UK, Netherlands.
