De fofftig Penns is a hip hop / electro band from Bremen, Germany, performing their songs in Low German. Formed in 2003 as a fun project named after rap artist 50 Cent, they started out covering and translating popular songs to Plattdüütsch. They are performing live since 2009 and now also write original songs. De fofftig Penns are mainly active in Northern Germany, but also perform outside of that region. Among other things they took part in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2013 and travelled to Japan to perform there.
