A Tokyo-oriented combo De Lorians were founded in 2016 by the frontman Takefumi ISHIDA (saxophones), Soya NOGAMI (guitars), Hyozo SHIRATORI (keyboards), and Genki GOTO (bass) for playing 'pataphysical music' according to their words. Their roots lay in a project named "Enkyaku" by Soya, Hyozo, and Yuya OSABE (voices) who joined after releasing their debut shot. Shizuru "Syzeuhl" YAMAGUCHI joined De Lorians in 2017 and their lineup has been confirmed. After gigging many times with Japanese psychedelic / avantgarde pioneers like Hikashu, Acid Mothers Temple, or Kikagaku Moyo, they signed a contract with a New York-based label bbib and released the debut eponymous album in July 2019 finally. De Lorians have gigged upon a European tour (Italy, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, UK, or France) in November 2019, that was highly appreciated.
