Annie de Bruin & Harrie de Bruin are a fictional couple from Rotterdam (the Netherlands). Real names: Marjolein Meijers & Hans Kemeling. They started out as a theater duo inspired by '50s American pop culture. Named after an imaginary scooter brand, the Berini, they toured dutch theaters and stages armed with ukulele and upright bass. Since 2006 after being a couple for nearly 22 years they broke up their fictional relationship.
