De Aquellos Días Felices was a shoegaze/emo act from Maracaibo, Venezuela. They were strongly influenced by the North American midwestern emo scene from bands like Mineral, Penfold and Christie Front Drive. The group started as a power-trio conformed by Nilberto Díaz (ZuL, Tres Aeroplanos, Ava Full Of Grace), Gustavo Inciarte (Desinformados), and Alejandro Delgado (Crecí en Veritas, Tres Aeroplanos) in 2013, who later recruited María Paula Manrique (Santa Bandida) as lead vocalist. They played a few local shows until María Paula left the band to focus on personal projects. Once again as a trio in 2014, the group recorded a single called "Sigo La Estática" which was included in a compilation album by the indie record label Menos La Fábrica. Shortly after the recording, Andrés Berríos (Capitán Berríos) and Oscar Quintero (Menoles, Desinformados) joined the lineup to complete the group's formation. In 2016, Gustavo and Andrés left the country due to the political and economic crisis. The group recurred to an old bandmate Jose Daniel Chacón to replace Gustavo and play the band's last shows. In 2017 the band went on hiatus. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
