Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia, DAY13's sound has been causing waves far and wide. A sonic powerhouse of energy and groove, DAY13 are currently recording new material for their debut album. With a string of explosive live shows across Adelaide in 2008, having supported the likes of Freestate, 12 Foot Ninja, TREAD, A Sound Mind and Varliiba, DAY13 have increased the intensity of their live show in 2009, and are looking forward to having an impact interstate and further increasing their fanbase in 2009. Drawing from a huge range of influences, DAY13 mix old school swagger with nu-school punch, creating an explosion of energy with every track they play. It's dirty, nitro fuelled pull no punches rock the way it should be played. Written, recorded and produced entirely by themselves in their own studio, DAY13's two EP's have had 4 tracks top the JJJ Unearthed chart, and their track "Smile" earn radio play on NOVA919.
