Currently, the major band called Davidian is a modern Thrash metal band from Germany, with a focus on the groove aspect of the music. They released their first full length album "Abuse of Power" in 2003 and their second album "Hear their Cries" in 2008. "DAVIDIAN was formed in the summer of 1997, bored by the wave of Black & Power Metal that seemed to dominate the Metal scene at that time. DAVIDIAN strived to create something more technical and challenging than their cohorts.
