David Peña Dorantes is a spanish musician born in the south of the provence of Sevilla, he was born within a family with a great passion for the music of Andalucia, so its not strange that he absorved their music culture. He started with the flamenco guitar, and won several prizes with it, but later on he discovered piano and decided to fully dedicate to it. His first Public appareance as a solo pianist was made in 1991 in Los Reales Alcazares, in the presence of the king and queen of Spain. Between 1997 and 1998 he recorded his first cd "Orobroy" In 2002 he recorded "Sur" which counted with important music guests as Esperanza Fernandez, Tino di Geraldo and Thomas Gubitsch.
