Artist
David Mysterious is a maverick one-man musical bandit from Wales. In 2005 he released an EP called ‘Troubadour of the Unknown’ on peski records. Since then the mysterious one has eluded everyone. In February 2009 his record label decided to take drastic action and broke into his last known address. They searched the house to no avail, and then entered the attic. There, they found David’s scrapbook filled with old photographs, drawings, writings, articles and a collection of new songs entitled ‘Jongleur Du Morte LP’. It seems the old boy had decided to disappear for good. To where, one can only guess. Peski Records decided to release the album as an extremely limited edition DIY booklet replicating the contents of the scrapbook including a live gig review from 1956, David’s address to the Society of Merchant Seamen’s Wives in 1878 and a rare interview with David himself published in a New York music magazine back in 1977. Inside the booklet will be a copy of the album on two mini cd’s entitled ‘part une’ and ‘part deux’. Any sightings of David Mysterious please contact Peski on info@peski.co.uk User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
