As well as solo recordings, he has recorded as Mick Linnard And David Hughes and is a member of St Agnes Fountain. 3) David Hughes is a Swedish bassist who has been based in Southern California since 1994. After studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockolm, Hughes left for Los Angeles and began as a studio musician. Credits include performances with Chaka Khan, Melissa Etheridge, Burt Bacharach, recordings with Ray Manzarek (the Doors) and the Jazz Crusaders and countless jingle sessions for TV and radio. He has also been an instructor at Musicians Institute and appeared in film and TV. A composer since he was old enough to reach the piano keys, the release of Hughes debut CD "Swoosh" unites his greatest passions - composing and performing.
