"Preceded by many years of playing guitar in bands involved in the Redding underground music scene through high-school; David enjoyed making rap songs for fun with his best friend from childhood (Myles Stevens; DAZD) who at this point had racked up lots of production experience spending most of his free-time making EDM music for his solo project "Versio". One afternoon while feeling especially inspired in summer 2018, him and his brother Justin Grace decided to lay down some rap songs on some cheesy garageband beats in their mothers 4' by 10' trailer David had been staying in. After realizing the quality of the audio was not impressive, the boys decided to put together a game-plan to involve DAZD in the productions. Late Winter 2018 DITW; David, Justin, and Myles' production group was formed. The group rolled out David's EP "Sickness" in January 2019 and then abruptly came to an extreme pause due to housing complications until they were able to save enough money to all settle into a home in Yreka, CA fall of 2019. Now the three are working and living together continually preparing and releasing more music together including "Built for the Road" by Justin, "16" by DAZD and Choji, and David's most recent; "Prone". David's style is still very loosely constructed but gradually evolving and solidifying, resembling many dark trap-elements as seem in his favorite artists like Denzel Curry, XXXtentacion, and Token while also carrying more speedy and conscious influence."
