After teaching himself guitar from song books and failed attempts at playing Iron Maiden songs on a Spanish guitar, David learned how to play properly and cut his teeth musically in the (world famous) Happy Return pub in Nottingham, whose now legendary open-mic nights have produced many many amazing artists (check out Gren Bartley, seriously) and many equally excellent ensembles, songs and pieces of music, most of whch were forgotton because they were written at 4am when everyone was drunk. Since then, David has travelled the world in search of nothing in particular but finding plenty, learning new songs, styles and tastes in the process. Particular attenton was paid to Panama hats, songs about Panama hats and other world issues just as important, if not more. Now heading back to university to find something someone might be willing to pay him to do, David spends his spare time playing his guitar to anyone who will listen and many who won't, and also enjoys writing his own biogs on such sites as Last.fm and Myspace...
