Artist
London-based solo artist/guitarist/songwriter Davey Moss has been described as sounding like a mixture of John Martyn and the Delta Blues mixed with the electronic styling of Radiohead with a dash of Jimi Hendrix . His musical vision has always been somewhere in between sampled beats, rock, blues and electronic music. Davey Moss writes blues tunes in a new and exciting way, all this against a repetitive structure more familiar to dance music, he calls it bluestronica. Davey Moss has built up a reputation with mainly London based promoters and venues. He recently supported guitar legend Eric McFadden (George Clinton, Funkadelic), got airplay on the BBC 6 Music and is a regular at many London venues including Barfly, The Goodship, The Rizty and The Bedford. He is influenced by all sorts of music, but a few stick out; Jimi Hendrix, Portishead, Massive Attack, Son House, Radiohead, John Martyn, Roots Manuva, Yoav.
