Dave Weiner is a guitarist perhaps best known for playing rhythm guitar in Steve Vai's band, often assigned the job of the "seven-string guitarist". In 2006 Weiner had his first album released on Steve Vai's Favored Nations label, although the album is only six tracks long, it has generally been received well by the guitarist community, who are always looking for guitarists who not only play the guitar well, but with a new and individual style. Dave's new record On Revolute was released early summer 2010 and features 76 minutes of instrumental highly guitaroriented progressive rock music.
