Daunt Inspired by the likes of Conan, Windhand, Cough or Monolord to name a few. Daunt is the reaffirmation of musical chemistry between Daniel Notthoff and Gabriel Dubko. The duo began working on this band with other members during the pandemic, later on deciding to have fill in musicians for live shows. As the first album drops there’s a world of possibilities out there and a world to be conquered. Based in London, DAUNT aka Will Daunt creates seductive slow-pop. Influenced by swung hip-hop beats, classic soul rhythms and 70s funk/disco bass lines, as well as the genre experimentation of artists like Beck or Glass Animals, DAUNT crafts unique pop that feels mature and refined.
