On a hot night in San Diego, California, a night of blood, sweat and semen, a legend was born. His name was Dashiel Scott Jackson or just "Dash" as those acquainted with him would call him. Son to a violinist and a pianist, it was only natural that music would flow through his veins. Dash started piano lessons at the age of 5 and by the age of 7 he was already writing, arranging, and performing his own compositions. At the age of 15 he along with his older brother Skip, started the pop punk band The Verbs. They would go on to play various venues in Southern California and even went on a national tour of the United States in 2001. However, The Verbs never found success and were never signed on to a record label. They eventually broke up in 2004. Fast forward 4 more years. It is now 2008 and Dash had many ideas in his head that could not be brought out while he was with The Verbs. In the meanwhile, he had discovered music production programs and during those 4 years, he started to delve into electronic music. January 2009, Dash decides to release his first single "Digital Life". Within a month, the song becomes a huge hit in the Southern California rave scene and Dash rises to acclaim as one of the most eclectic electronic music producers that has ever come out of sunny San Diego.
