Das Projekt that was first called Das Projekt der Krummen Mauern, is one of the most old gothic rock bands from São Paulo, Brazil. Started in 1991 by Edu Krummen, under the name ''Santos Pecadores'', and with the release of an EP-k7 ''Sinners From the Hollow Valley'', actually the band consists of Edu Krummen and Gê Lucas on guitars, Call on the bass and Marcelo Kpta, that assumed the vocals in 2006. The first official EP was released in 2000 titled ''Phoenix'' followed by their first debut ''Romantic and Metaphysic'' released in 2003 by Batcave Records. They performed in some underground venues in São Paulo as: Espaço Retrô, Armageddon, Urbania amongst others. The band also joined some brazilian compilations like ''Violet Carson'' and ''De Profundis''. In 2009 after some time without recording the band released a new EP ''Arabian Beauties'', featuring the classic song ''Seventh Day'', and also a remixed version of the same song ''A Industrya remix''. Since your beginning they have explored other musical segments, payed tribute to The Cure with their version of ''A Strange Day'' and re-recorded a classic version of a sucess by B. Ives/Johnny Cash ''Ghost Rider in the Sky", and another highlight was Unknown Pleasures, a new composition featuring Cláudia, the singer of the band Scarlet Leaves. From 2002 to 2009, the band had the honour to be opening act for some bands like The Mission and Trisomie 21 in their gigs in São Paulo. In 2011 the band signed with Pisces Records and
